THE STORY OF "LAND OF HOPES AND DREAMS"
Staring out into the enormous space of the open sea, a momentous realization starts to sink in: Never, in the scheme of it all, have I been disappointed by the unshakeable commitment to the life of my dreams. Kindling creativity is a conscious choice after all, one of dedicating precious time and space — both of which, I know too well, are becoming increasingly rare commodities amid the demands of our modern life machinery.
It sure seems to me, however, that such affirmation is a path that the enlightened populous follows intuitively nonetheless. They have always known, somehow: To shine a light, we have to first let the light in.
As the dark, chilly predawn gives way to the luminescent debut of the sun, I slowly awake from my state of meditative sightseeing. In that moment, it dawns on me — the primal purpose of my perennial artistic quest is this: To create an aspirational portrait of the very best that rests within all of us, that which is most closely tied to the essence of light in nature.
