I had wandered through the sheer endless incarnations of wondrous shape in Antelope Canyon for two days. Coming around yet another corner, my dreamlike voyage culminated in gazing spellbound at this intimate dance of intricate form and light of unspeakable richness. Standing deep in a most narrow section of laterally mazing, stupendous canyon walls, my neck craned skyward. I lost all sense of direction. All I knew to do was revel in the divine ways the blessed light brought alive the once lifeless craggy walls. The heavenly radiation was music in my mind, as I watched in awe opposing walls rendezvousing, boundaries between heaven and earth slowly dissolving, blending into a thousand theatrical shapes of inexhaustible beauty and curiosity.
I stood and stared and thought of Abbey: All things are in motion, all is in process, nothing abides, nothing will ever change in this eternal moment. At last, I remembered the camera planted in front of me, and, holy-eyed, I pressed the shutter button, freezing in time a moment of as much dazzling and confounding beauty as I had ever seen.
