THE STORY OF "LIFELONG LOVE"

As I watched these two horses rendezvous on a calm autumn’s morn after a passing storm, my hopelessly romantic heart oo-ed and aah-ed, witnessing such tender touch in a hardwired place. The tranquility of affection on magnificent display, I thought of Annie Dillard: Softness is vulnerable, but it has a will.

Here is to always being willing to cherish the beautiful moment, to be willingly vulnerable, to brush the hardness of life aside when all is right, if only for a while.

HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE LIMITED EDITION OF 99 | Grand Teton National Park, WY

A Lars Gesing fine art nature photograph of two horses that are not meant for horseback riding tours, sharing a tender moment in Grand Teton National Park near Jackson Hole, Wyoming, during the peak of fall colors. The best places and best time to see the fall colors in Grand Teton National Park is usually in late September.

MY ART & YOUR INSPIRATION GIVE BACK

I am a proud member of 1% for the Planet and its mission of protecting our only home. The concept is simple: The land has given me much, so I want to give back. That’s why I have committed to donate 1% of every sale of every artwork to select nonprofits that are working to protect the land shown in your piece. That means, over its life in my gallery, LIFELONG LOVE will generate roughly $2000 supporting the GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK FOUNDATION.
